Ear wax is the natural way in which our bodies protect our ears from bacteria and its production is normal. Sometimes wax builds up which can cause loss of hearing and in some cases discomfort.
Microsuction is a safe and effective way to remove unwanted build up of wax. The nurse practitioner will use a microscope to allow a clear view of the ear canal, then the wax will be gently removed using a suction tip. The results are immediate, the ear feels more comfortable and the hearing improved.

Ear Wax Removal Services
EAR IRRIGATION
Ear Irrigation, also often known as ear lavage or ear flush, is a safe method of earwax removal when performed by our trained healthcare professionals. Irrigation involves inserting warm water into the ears to gently remove the earwax.
MICROSUCTION
Microsuction earwax removal, sometimes referred to as ear vacuuming, is the most commonly performed manual type of earwax removal used by our team of professionals. During the procedure, we use a microscope and a small catheter tip, that is delicately positioned within the ear to suction out the built up wax.
HOME VISITS
We understand during recent unprecedented times appointments can be difficult to facilitate for many patients. The Ear to Ear team are therefore able to provide home visits in certain circumstances, within a 10 mile radius of our practice in Weedon. Please contact us for more information.

Our pricing structure is below, if we undertake an initial consultation and no earwax is found, you will only be charged the consultation fee. Should we find earwax then the price per ear fee applies and the consultation fee is wavered.
